FAMMP: PERC Reporting Standard course
Interpreting Technical Reports and Press Releases – A guide for Investors, Executives, Regulators and Stakeholders
To correctly interpret technical reports and press releases produced by, or on behalf of, exploration and mining companies can be challenging.
The significance of the information presented and the materiality of any risks and opportunities raised is not always clear and so can be misinterpreted, potentially leading to inappropriate decision making.
FAMMP, the Fennoscandian Association for Metals and Minerals Professionals, hereby invites you to participate in a digital course to be presented by Dr. Mike Armitage (SRK Consulting). Mike has over 30 years’ experience in the industry producing and auditing mineral resource estimates and managing feasibility and due diligence studies.
The aim of this course is to:
- Highlight the requirements of internationally accepted reporting codes in terms of terminology, materiality and transparency in relation to public domain reporting of exploration results, resources and reserves.
- Discuss key aspects of the various technical disciplines that are the most material and on which reviews of technical information placed in the public domain may best be focused upon and how these vary between deposit type and development stage.
- Provide insight into the non-technical aspects of reporting of exploration results, resources and reserves.
